Here it is, the first two sections of the book; Introduction to the second edition and introduction to the game and the book’s content (which details the new sections added to 2nd ed). All in glorious full colour. Please note this is still a work in progress and subject to change. Specifically the contents page is wrong. Chapter headings are correct but pages and page numbers are wrong. But I wanted to give people who pre-ordered a taste of what is coming

Excellent! Nice illustrations and well written. I´m looking forward to hold this book in my hands. Just one thought about the layout. Try use the two column layout all over if you use the whole page width. One column parts with this small font size get hard to read. It´s a matter of readability. I now think about the pages “Welcome” and “Example”. It´s all about helping the eye get from one row to another. The space between the row´s another factor. But with the size of font you use it´s OK as long as the row´s not to broad.

Not sure what the deal is, but the most of the larger headers, epecially in Table of Contents, and Title page, is garbled in Adobe Acrobat on a Win XP machine. Could this be a font I do not have?
The Fonts should be embedded in the pdf. What version of Acrobat are you viewing on?
I’m having issues with the latest version of Firefox, which has its own a beta quality PDF reader now, but switch to the latest version of Acrobat Reader and all is good.
