I’m curious: why did you remove skills over 100, including multiple attacks in combat?
I found them to be fiddly in play, and very rarely used.
The multiple attacks in combat especially caused so much confusion and were at odds with OpenQuest’s philosophy “D100 Gaming Made Easy”.
Finally, the whole concept of having skills over 100% in a percentile game always seemed at odds logically with me.
I’ve found that in our OQ3 games, players don’t miss skills over 100%. The whole “100% is Mastery and you are automatically successful” ruling, sits well with them and lets them focus on getting on with playing the game in a more strategic manner.
Thanks for explaining your reasoning, which makes sense.
